Clearwater 24-Hour Feed Status
No official Clearwater County Sheriff 24-hour release feed was located. The official jail page provides facility details and telephone access, but it has no person search, recent-release filter, release time, booking photograph, refresh schedule, or archive. The sheriff navigation and document center also do not supply a same-day list.
This is a confirmed absence of a public feature. It does not mean no one was released today. It also does not mean a missing name was freed. A transfer to IDOC, another county, the U.S. Marshals Service, or ICE ends the local jail stay without a community release.
The official jail source shown below documents the available access route and the lack of a displayed release-feed control.

The page supports a direct jail check, not a list of people released today.
Check Clearwater Releases Today
A same-day inquiry works best when it is narrow. Have the full name and enough identifying detail to avoid a namesake. Clearwater County Jail can answer the immediate custody question, while a movement record supplies durable proof.
- Call Clearwater County Jail at 208-476-8903 and ask whether the person is still held.
- If not held, ask whether the exit was a community release or a transfer.
- Ask for the recorded date and time, release type, and receiving agency.
- Use the Sheriff’s Document Center when a written record is needed.
- Check VINELink for a person-specific custody event, then confirm with the agency named there.
- Review MyCourts for the bond, dismissal, sentence, or transfer order.
For a named-person search that spans more than today, the Clearwater County released-inmate lookup connects county, state, court, and federal paths.
Clearwater Same-Day Record Fields
Because no official online list exists, no web fields or retention period can be claimed. Request the existing custody movement rather than asking staff to build a new 24-hour report. A tight request can seek these fields when held and releasable.
| Field | What it resolves |
|---|---|
| Full name and booking number | Separates the person and custody episode |
| Admission and exit date/time | Places the event within the same-day window |
| Release type or reason | Distinguishes bond, time served, order, or other disposition |
| Destination or receiving agency | Separates community release from transfer |
| Case or court-order reference | Connects the movement to legal authority |
| Booking photograph | Identifies the booking image, but does not prove release |
A bond entry means the person left pretrial custody while the case continued. Time served links release to sentence credit or completion. Dismissal can resolve one charge but not another hold. Transfer means local custody ended, not that the person was free.
Clearwater Same-Day Fallback Chain
The sheriff records request should describe an existing record. Include the person, approximate booking date, desired same-day exit range, and electronic format. Ask for the custody movement, release date and time, type, reason, destination, booking number, case number, and photograph if separately maintained and releasable.
Idaho’s Public Records Act allows a focused request under Title 74, Chapter 1. The current statute permits a written request that identifies the subject and date range. For an Idaho resident, the general response period is three working days, with written notice allowing more time, generally no later than ten working days. Those periods do not turn a records request into a live alert.
Use IDOC only when a state commitment, retained jurisdiction, parole, or felony probation is involved. Its Resident/Client Search updates daily, not in real time. In community can show supervision; Discharged [date] shows completed IDOC jurisdiction more directly. Neither result is the Clearwater County Jail’s same-day release log.
Clearwater Release or Transfer
Clearwater County’s website offers no live roster to compare against a release list. The jail telephone is therefore the first current-custody check. Ask one direct question: does the facility still hold this person? If the answer is no, ask for the exit type and receiving agency.
| Status | Best same-day source | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Still in county custody | Jail telephone | No local exit has been confirmed |
| Community release | Movement record plus court order | County custody ended into the community |
| Transfer | Movement record and receiving custodian | County stay ended, but custody continued |
| State supervision | IDOC detail | Person may be in the community under parole or probation |
When Clearwater Releases Are Processed
The sheriff publishes no fixed release-processing hour. Main sheriff office hours cannot be treated as jail release hours. The jail page explains that weekday courthouse access uses the front doors and upstairs route, while weekends and holidays use the elevator beneath the courthouse. That confirms facility access across those days, not a promised time of release.
Court paperwork, bond processing, identity checks, property return, and holds can separate legal authorization from the moment a person leaves. A same-day caller should ask whether release was authorized, whether processing is complete, and whether any other agency hold remains. Do not plan transport from a court order alone.
Credit-card transactions are available for bonds and bond fees by telephone or in person through the jail. The jail page lists a nonrefundable Access Idaho surcharge of three percent plus one dollar. That charge is not a public-record fee and should not be added to a records request.
Clearwater Sheriff App Limits
The sheriff announced a mobile app in 2018 for nonemergency reports, anonymous tips, news releases, and emergency notices. That announcement does not promise an inmate search, release list, release alert, or booking photographs. A current store listing may represent a newer app generation, so old and new tabs should not be assumed to match.
The official app evidence is useful because it defines the limit. Review the sheriff’s app announcement before treating any feature as available.

The announcement supports public-safety communication, not a sheriff-certified list of today’s releases.
Clearwater Same-Day Data Limits
No published refresh cadence or online retention window applies because no official feed exists. VINE can lag because it depends on agency data. IDOC updates daily and covers state corrections, not every county-jail event. MyCourts can show legal authority but may precede actual exit processing.
Third-party arrest pages are not a substitute. They may keep stale names and photos, and may not distinguish release, bond, transfer, acquittal, or discharge. Do not use them as a release source. Note: The wider Clearwater 72-hour release route is better for a weekend date range, but it also requires direct verification.
Clearwater Same-Day Court Check
MyCourts can explain the authority behind a same-day exit. Search the Clearwater County case by exact case number when possible. Review bond terms, release conditions, dismissal, judgment, jail credit, probation, warrants, amended orders, and commitment entries. A name-only search needs careful identity matching.
The court event and jail event should be paired. A bond order can authorize release before staff complete processing. A time-served judgment can support release while another hold prevents a community exit. A commitment order can explain why the person left the county jail for IDOC. For the actual bond, release, sentencing, or dismissal order, request the document from the clerk rather than relying on an abbreviated docket label.
Clearwater County courthouse records are available through the clerk at 150 Michigan Avenue, Room 201, Orofino, with general telephone 208-476-5615. Court staff can provide records and procedure, but not legal advice.
Clearwater Release Alerts Today
VINE is the better notification tool for a particular person. Choose Idaho, search by name or offender identifier, match the record, and read the status and responsible agency. If the record offers notification, select the release or custody-change event and complete the telephone, text, or email registration steps shown.
A VINE notice can arrive faster than a records response, but it is still agency-fed. Save the record identifier and custodian name, then call that custodian. No match can result from spelling, participation, or processing limits. It must never be read as proof that the person was released.
