Information You Submit
Terms Entered in Search
When a visitor types a name, location, or other term into a search tool, that request passes to the third-party provider that operates the search. Clearwater County Released Inmates does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages Sent Directly
Email and contact-form messages are retained as needed to read and answer the request. They are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Automatic Technical Details
Normal server, analytics, and browser functions may collect technical details when a page loads. Those details can include:
- The visitor's IP address
- Browser name and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- The referring website, when available
- Date and time stamps

Links Beyond This Site
Pages may link to Clearwater County Sheriff and jail resources, Idaho Department of Correction records, parole and probation information, federal or ICE portals, legal resources, and outside search tools. Once a visitor follows one of those links, the destination's privacy terms govern its collection and use of information.
Some advertising partners may use their own systems to track activity across websites and tailor ads. That tracking occurs through the partner's technology, not a database maintained by Clearwater County Released Inmates.
Limited Information Sharing

- Search partners that receive and process submitted queries
- Analytics providers that measure site performance and use
- Advertising networks that deliver and assess ads
- Law enforcement or government authorities acting under a valid legal order
Reasonable Security Measures
Standard, reasonable practices are used to protect information under the site's control. No internet-connected service is fully secure, however. Clearwater County Released Inmates cannot promise that unauthorized access, loss, or a security breach will never occur.
